It’s also a romantic story which feels very realistic and depicts the real life struggles that all newlywed’s face.

This movie with Reese Witherspoon as the protagonist has a classic storyline where a small-town girl tries to navigate the big city. Her big-city boyfriend, played by Patrick Dempsey, sweeps her off her feet as she lives out her dreams as a fashion designer. However, she can’t seem to stop thinking about her ex from home… 

Don’t miss the iconic proposal scene in Tiffany’s! Although nothing beats this New York rooftop proposal. Reese’s character has to learn to accept her hometown and begins to appreciate her southern roots, her loving and eccentric parents, and especially her ex, the one that got away! This film has a sweet message about being who you are and not trying to impress others.

Sandra Bullock, a publisher, and Ryan Reynolds, her assistant, pretend to be a couple so that she can obtain a visa in this hilarious rom-com. After having to spend time around his family on holiday in the middle of nowhere in Alaska, they begin to develop feelings for each other. You can’t miss the scene where Betty White and Sandra Bullock dance around in the middle of the Alaskan woods! This movie is the perfect mix of comedy and romance that we guarantee will make you laugh out loud.

Finally, although these two movies have very different storylines, they are equally as funny and ridiculous! When watching, you will be gob-smacked and crying with laughter. These movies are a good way to take the edge off, especially if you are stressed. Be reassured that your big day will definitely not go as badly as these ones do! Your plan will seem like the best wedding ever in comparison. Although, who would say no to Wilson Phillips showing up at their marriage ceremony?
