For today’s New Jersey bride and Russian groom, a destination wedding was always going to be on the cards especially considering most of Karen’s family would be travelling from a third continent to be with them on their special day. They chose to have a stunning villa wedding in Sitges and with guests coming from so far away, they made a week of it so that they could really relax and spend as much quality time with everyone as they could. A bright floral palette and the stone backdrop of the villa (not to mention the incredible views of the national park) made for quite the setting and with guests dining under the stars and the twinkling lights, it was a very magical and authentic experience. There’s so much to admire in how K Schulz Photography captured this beautiful day.
From Kelly
“Andrey is from Russia and Karen is from New Jersey but has family from Asia and they have friends from all over the world so they chose a destination wedding. They picked a private Villa to stay at for a week and also to hold the wedding in the middle of the week. They made their wedding into a week long celebration for their guests who could make the journey. Their rings were very important to them, Instead of choosing the traditional circle rings they picked rings that didn’t connect symbolises that their wedding is just the beginning of their journey together. Their ceremony took place overlooking the Natural Park (Parc Natural Del Garraf) Instead of cutting a wedding cake they used a sword to cute fruit since they are both very healthy and love fruit. They and their guests shared a long table under the twilight sky and enjoy dinner and laughter as well as speeches from all their bridal party and several guests throughout the dinner.”
