We always get excited when we come across great bridal designers, but when their philosophy involves using responsibly sourced materials we are over the moon. Eco couture is a relatively new term but one we’ll be seeing so much more of, and Pure Magnolia was founded in 2009 when designer Patty Nayel noticed a gap in the market for choices of gowns for the eco-conscious bride. The company is committed to using sustainable fabrics and making dresses locally. The materials used include organic cottons, vintage and recycled fabrics, European laces and Indian silks. Each dress is customizable and there are also plus sized options available. The range is very affordable, with other options such as renting dresses or purchasing samples. Bridesmaid and flower girl dresses are also stocked, and we’re just so in love with these designs.
