Nobody seems to do effortless boho chic quite like the French. We’ve fallen for gowns by Laure de Sagazan and Rime Arodaky in the past and today we’re bringing another France-based designer to the fore: Marie Laporte. Marie has been designing wedding gowns for over a decade. In her creative process she seeks to move away from bridal stereotypes and to design dresses that not only delight the eye but also accentuate the body, using materials like organza, satin, chiffon, tulle, and Chantilly and Calais lace. The 2020 collection is full of boho chic wedding dresses with emphasis on the backs of gowns and often on the sleeves, as you’ll see below.
