Palazzo Avino

Palazzo Avino is a stunning five-star deluxe hotel on Italy’s famed Amalfi coast. Built in what was once a 12th century private villa for an Italian noble family and opened as a hotel in 1997, Palazzo Avino has been landed as one of the world’s finest hotels and boasts one-star Michelin dining. Tucked away in the medieval hilltop village of Ravello, perched high on the cliffs, 350 m (1,000 ft) above the sparkling Mediterranean, Palazzo Avino overlooks some of the coast’s most picturesque fishing villages.

Description

Once a 12th century private villa for an Italian noble family, it is now one of the world’s hotel wonders, opulently overlooking the awe-inspiring Amalfi Coast.

This jewel of the Mediterranean sparkles like the turquoise sea it views and each lush, green terrace is more sweetly suited than the next for the most exquisite, intimate affair.

Events

Palazzo Avino offers a meeting room with natural light. Special parties or events can also be arranged in one of our terraces or in the private restaurant.

Sea of Love

With it’s unforgettable vistas, charming cobblestone streets and dreamy coastline, there are few places in the world as romantic as Ravello.
Upping the anti on the romance stakes, Palazzo Avino offers a dining experience guaranteed to whisk guests off their feet.
The new “Sea of Love Table” offers diners a truly romantic evening under the stars and the perfect setting to be seduced by the stunning surroundings.
Departing at sunset from Amalfi, guests are taken to the harbour and picked up by a boat for a private excursion along the coastline.
The skipper will guide the boat through the crystal clear waters along the shoreline to Palazzo Avino’s Clubhouse.
Awaiting them, a team of staff and private chef will welcome the guests and take them to a secluded candle lit table set for two.
Adding to the ambience, diners can request a live orchestra tailored to their musical tastes.
The chef will prepare a sumptuous menu of traditional Italian cuisine, each serving paired with hand picked regional wine.
Watching the sun descend into the sea whilst listening to the gentle sound of waves, it may leave diners weak at the knees and offer the most picturesque settings for a proposal.
For the ultimate finale, there is the option to organise a display of spectacular fireworks before being taken back to the hotel.

Sunset Table

For their array colours, silhouettes and stunning vistas no two sunsets are ever the same. Perched high on the cliffs, some 1000 feet above sea level, the “Sunset Table” at Palazzo Avino’s offers the ultimate spot to catch the last rays of sunshine as they disappear into the azure blue waters below. Set atop the rooftop of the pink palace, it is one of the most secluded and romantic dining experiences in the region with sweeping views across the Amalfi Coastline.
Upon arrival, The Chef will take guests on a culinary journey as he prepares an exquisite Italian meal tailored to suit each diner’s tastes.
Wine connoisseurs will have a chance to consult with the Head Sommelier as he pairs each dish with local wines from the region.
One of the Amalfi’s best kept secrets, the “Sunset Table” is the perfect location to marvel at the area’s breath-taking scenery
