Today we have some Art Deco wedding inspiration for you. I love the elegant and glamorous geometric and flowing lines of Art Deco. Luckily for us, there has been quite an emergence of bridal gowns inspired by this style in the last few years. I’ve tried to include lots of silver and gold in the images I found, which hopefully will bring a little sparkle to your Monday!
Much of the Art Deco fashion style of the 1920s and 30s was characterized by using a ‘bias cut‘ for dresses. This technique exploits the natural weave of fabric to let the material drape over curves and accentuate body lines very effectively. It really helps the material to hang in a gorgeous flowing way and cling to the figure.
