Tucked between the Timor Sea and its namesake river on an isolated portion of Western Australia’s Kimberly Coast, the Berkeley River Lodge is as remote as it gets. The Lodge is a bastion of luxury in the middle of one of the world’s last true wildernesses. Berkeley can only be reached by air (it has its own landing strip) or by traveling along the coast by boat. The nearest town, Wyndham, is 150 km away.
Guests in the Berkeley’s villas are treated to views of the sea and the river – and, of course, the unbelievably scenic sunrises and sunsets.
