Château La Gauterie

The Chateau, built in 1820 for Conte Francois Lagauterie is set in the breathtaking French Countryside and is on the Dordogne / Charente in border, close to the market town of Riberac and stunning Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. This is recognized as being one of the most beautiful areas in France. Château La Gauterie is surprisingly beautiful: it is located in one of the most beautiful regions of France, and has been elegantly restored, while retaining most of the original features. The atmosphere that reigns there is harmonious and refined, but friendly and warm.

The Chateau has 7 bedrooms and there are a further 4 in The Gatehouse so you can have your family and close friends here with you.
Hold an intimate Wedding in the chateau for up to 30 guests.
For larger Weddings of more than 30 guests we have a marquee which holds up to 120.
For your ceremony you may wish to choose the Chapel, the grand salon inside the chateau, the beautiful terrace, the pool patio or somewhere in the stunning parkland.
