The coastal area of Puglia, or the “heel” of Italy in the country’s south-east region, was the home of this styled shoot. Captured last April, the vendors involved in the project took the Mediterranean Sea and its timeless colours as their inspiration. LES AMIS PHOTO shot these images on a beach in the renowned Salient region of Puglia, far from the traffic and noise of northern Italy. Weddings in Tuscany coordinated the day, setting up the decor on a beach that was beautifully untouched- misty and windswept as the golden sunset rolled in over soft grassy dunes. A wedding table with luscious florals overlooks the ocean, the florist combining classic white blooms with lots of textural greenery into loose and wild compositions. A light breeze adds a sense of movement and romance to the images. The soft wedding palette features blue, grey and white with a touch of copper mimicking the golden sand and sunlight reflecting off the rocks. An element of classic romanticism was added with the simple yet elegant organza wedding gown, and the calligraphy of the stationery matches the natural setting perfectly.
