If you’re currently planning to get married abroad, this rustic wedding at Borgo Garzolini in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy will fill you with inspiration! It has the perfect mixture of romance and relaxed vibes. This region has an abundance of wine production, vast landscapes and gorgeous vineyards. It is the perfect place for an Italian vineyard elopement. Jessica Fasciano was the wedding planner and stylist for this photoshoot which has helped to inspire many destination wedding themes…
Inspiration
In the design process for this shoot, the stylist wanted to mix together the modern feel of the decor with the classic historical Italian villa surrounded by the beautiful nature of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The villa is a jewel hidden away amongst the country fields of the region. Its pastel colours and historic touches keep the vintage vibe alive. Colours have been merged together on the table layout to truly mix old with new. The photographer, Rahele Mosolo has truly captured the romance of the couple, each shot portraying their true love at their Italian vineyard elopement.
The pop of bright colour here is to inspire couples to do something quirky or new with their wedding theme as it can help to liven up the photos and add a personal flair to the day.
Style
The main colours found in this wedding were peach, lemon yellow and turquoise blue, used on the cake, table layout and flowers. The modern and old decor mixes together the style of the young couple with the style of the old villa perfectly.
Location
The tourist traps of Italy are normally Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast and Lake Como, so this couple opted for a relatively unknown region. But Friuli Venezia Giulia is perfect for weddings: it has beaches, hills, mountains and some areas that are practically untouched by tourists. This makes it an affordable alternative for your Italian vineyard elopement!
Additional details
Jessica, the bride, opted for two looks: the first, a romantic low-back dress and the second, a statement look with pearls, feathers and a Gatsby flair. She also wore a Paperthink headpiece.
The other stylish details were created by Invitú Design, with a fun, sassy vibe: round edges and pastel tones.
