The styled wedding we have for you today was captured in Italy’s Abruzzo, an area east of Rome bordering the Adriatic sea and covered largely by the Apennine mountains. There is an alpine meadow here- the largest plateau of the Apennine range- called Campo Imperatore. Marta from CREAzionifatteaMANO was inspired by the wild beauty, vastness and silence of the Campo Imperatore to set this styled shoot here. Marta’s vision was an informal, simple and merry outdoor wedding party. The bride and groom are dressed with an alpine flair, seated at a long wooden table with centrepieces made from ivy, fern and fir twigs. Old textiles sewn on cardboard are the base for placeholders, envelopes for hand-delivered wedding announcements, a wedding guest book and party favour boxes made from cheese rounds. Vintage laces wreaths and rustic bunting hanging from trees recall small town celebrations. Tin cans were used for flower vases and arranged informally, with an old tobacco box becoming an alternative wedding ring box. A picnic setting was also captured with a colourful Turkish-style rug, and brightly coloured flowers and feathers were chosen for the bridal bouquet. Everything was captured perfectly in Andrea Calvano‘s intimate and beautiful photography style.
