Helen and Guy were married at the most incredible cathedral I have seen – the Amalfi Cathedral. Just check out that ceiling!! Many of you may know already I am a sucker for intricate and over the top architecture and this one does not disappoint. Totally gorgeous and absolutely outstanding for a wedding ceremony. Following the stunning ceremony, the wedding party moved on to the Hotel Miramalfi for a beautiful wedding reception with views of the Amalfi coast as their backdrop (jealous much?!) The event was expertly planned by Jacquie Coppola from The Amalfi Experience and the elaborate floral decor by Franco Di Bianco. Jacquie said he was “a delight to work with and the kindest person!!! He always goes out of his way to make sure every bride is happy.” Helen wore a stunning David Fielden gown and headpiece along with beautiful Swarovski jewelry to match while her bridesmaids were dressed in Dessy.
Here is what Amy had to say – “The weather was so hot and lovely. The guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles in one of the local cafes / squares after the ceremony before they moved on to the hotel. Another point to note was that one of the guests played the piano and sang the song for their first dance, a surprise for all of the guests – a lovely moment. (Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars.)”
