What better way to start a Friday than with cake?! Thanks very much to Fiona of SugarSugar for getting in touch with me and sharing these lovely cakes, I am mostly enamored with the hand painted wedding cakes – these are my new obsession. They are SO beautiful. Sugarsugar specialises in hand painted techniques, contemporary “off the wall” designs as well as sculpted cakes. They also do cupcakes and decorative cookies as seen below (how cute are the wedding dress cookies!) which seem to be the new fad in wedding favours.
Their best seller is currently the “Vintage Rose Cupcake” which was recently designed for a Sunday Telegraph photo shoot. (Check out the beautiful old detailing on each of the roses) Some other unique flavors include luscious lemon sponge with apricot preserve and white chocolate butter cream. Sugarsugar is a newly relocated company, based in Worthing, West Sussex and deliver to a wide radius of clients and events. They offer design consultation and taste testing. Prices start at 1.70$ per cupcake.
