I have been looking forward to sharing this AH-maazing movie with you guys for too long now but finally the day has come! We all know the love affair that I am having with Paris for a number of months now but to say that it has stepped up a notch after seeing today’s movie would be quite the understatement… I’m now not only contemplating visiting Paris but moving there instead! Tam and Russell made quite the trip, travelling all the way from Australia to say “I do” but my gosh… it looks like it was worth every mile! Get your tissues and popcorn to the ready, sit back, relax and most importantly…enjoy!
Well I’m just back from my holidays and had a great time and you know what, it’s not so bad coming home when I get to look at pretty things everyday and today is no exception! Yesterday we showed you a masterpiece of a movie by Studio Artifice and today, we are incredibly lucky to be able to share the stunning photographs. I fell head over heels for this wedding the first time I watched the movie and well, when I saw that Studio Cabrelli were the photographers on the day, had to have the images to share! And here they are!
When it came to choosing their wedding destination, Tam and Russell said that they couldn’t think of anywhere that symbolised their love better than Paris “it is old, romantic and is eternally bright.” We couldn’t agree more. I love the tiled floor of the Salon Marie Antoinette in Hotel de Crillon.
Favourite moment?
“Standing by ourselves for the first time as husband and wife in the Paris sunshine near the Eiffel Tower (first photo stop – just before our guests arrived) and also our first dance on the Marie Antoinette Terrace overlooking Paris” – How romantic does that sound?!
Like most couples planning a destination wedding, everything was done via email. With such a distance between Australia and France, they found reading blogs and forums one of the best ways to get local information. They believe that it was all worth it though finding their venue, photographer and videographer online – all of whom they said were a pleasure to work with!
