James and Brodie first met in Perth through friends in 2002. After only being together for 6 months Brodie got a job offer in Sydney, and James said he wanted to move in with her. After spending 5 years in Sydney they both decided to move to London. Travelling has always been a big part of their relationship, they love exploring new places together. Brodie and James visited Spain for a short holiday and fell in love with Ibiza.
They visited Ibiza again the following year when James decided to propose on the first day of their holiday while swimming and sunbathing on one of their favorite beaches. James dropped down on one knee right there in the baby blue Ibiza sea he asked Brodie to marry him. On the same day they went out for dinner to Sa Punta Restaurant. They loved it so much they decided to hold their wedding ceremony and dinner there!
Bree, one of the bridesmaids read a poem she had written for the young couple and they had the traditional Ibiza sand sharing ritual which was very beautiful.
Brodie wore a strapless Camilla and Marc dress with a linen corset top and silk skirt.
James and Brodie wanted the day do be casual yet elegant. 37 guests from all over flew to Ibiza to celebrate their special day.
After the ceremony they walked to the cliff tops to have their photos taken. The sun was setting. Brodie worried about the clouds but as you can see the sunset was so much more dramatic and colorful thanks to these few little clouds hanging.
Their parents loved the idea of an Ibiza wedding and didn’t mind traveling all the way from Australia to share one of their favourite places in the world.
