Inspiration for your Bohemian desert wedding in Dubai

If you want to lose yourself in a daydream, the Al Qudra desert is perfect for a bohemian bride.

Today we will tell you about the Empty Quarter: A wedding on the Emirati desert sands with colourful sunsets, neutral decoration and grasses.

Dubai is an ideal place for a wedding, and Krust Photography has captured this beauty through the neutral colours, large open spaces and amazing sunsets that create a magical venue.

The Dubai Al Qudra desert is an inspiring place. The golden sand of the dunes covers vast areas of land, where you can begin to notice little signs of life from the ground, creating a harmonious connection between the huge desert and the fragility of life. Krust was inspired by this when creating the desert Rose photoshoot. A perfect mix of delicacy and romance.

Desert Rose is the perfect inspiration for a bohemian bride that loves the colour gold. Here are two looks that were featured in the shoot. The first with a minimalist outfit, and the second, a bit more theatrical.

The first dress was from Bo and Luca, with delicate beading and a cape back. A soft and flowy ensemble with bold earrings to finish it off. The second was a two-piece set from Bo and Luca, with a lot of detail and rich silk.

The Florals

Fresh and dry plants were mixed together to portray the desert environment: grass, pampas, fluffy asparagus and Lunaria seed pods in neutral colours, along with mother of pearl roses and white Lisianthus. This cute touch only adds to the romance.

The Cake

This two tiered chocolate cake made of chocolate was so tasty! It had gold accents, fresh and dried stems. Created by Cakes by Zoya and Iris and May Florist.

The Decoration and Style

Palmera Design and Events helped to create this warm gold and orange theme, with many patterns and textures. A low table and leather chairs brought this desert style together. Small jars of flowers and spices were placed on the table on top of a lace table runner which added to the bohemian desert theme. To complete the rustic style, we have included wicker baskets of pampas grass. Additionally, we added handwritten calligraphy to the stationary. Very Bohemian!
