Can you tell us a bit more about the person behind the business, how did you come to work in the wedding industry?

I came to the wedding industry via the inevitable route for a makeup artist – my friends asking me to do it for their weddings! I was worked as the head artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and then as an artist for Space NK in London and these positions introduced me to many brides-to-be. As I was working in the fashion industry at the same time, my focus was (and still is) on precision and perfection in makeup. In order for it to be photographed well, it must be the best it can be. There is no room for mistakes or bad blending; I love flawless skin and I think my reputation spread via word of mouth when I started doing weddings. I have since had the pleasure of looking after lots of brides both in and out of the public eye. I never get tired of a wedding day and my own is in the planning too!

I am delighted to be blogging for you too! I will be posting about wedding makeup tips for both home shores and abroad, great makeup and skincare products and beautiful looks from the worlds of weddings and fashion as well as a few random pretty things for brides that catch my eye.

I am excited about my recent partnership with the Harvey Nichols store in Dundrum where I have launched a Personal Beauty Edit; a service where people can come to have a session with me and I will edit their current makeup collection and give them a lesson as well as advising them on products to buy from across all the brands available in the store. It’s a unique service in this country and it’s a good opportunity for people to spend time with a non-biased professional makeup artist who is solely focused on finding the best look for them.
