Today we have an intimate wedding in the city of love to share with you. Jennifer and Stefan live in Huddinge, near Stockholm, Sweden but wanted something a bit different for their wedding. They both really love Paris, and decided it would be the perfect destination for their wedding.
They planned a very intimate celebration with just their son Hampus and about 20 of their closest family and friends who all travelled from Stockholm to celebrate with them. To begin their wedding day they met with photographer Cherrie Coutts at Trocadero, with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower, to capture their first look! After the shoot they had some time alone before their wedding ceremony at the Swedish Church which is also a school on 9 Rue Mederic, 75017 Paris.
The Ceremony was conducted in Swedish by a female Priest, according to Swedish traditions. After the Ceremony they traveled down to Notre Dame with their Best Man and Maid of Honour. From Notre Damn they walked down to the bank of the Seine and then up to Saint Michael’s Metro stop… with it’s iconic signag and another favourite site of Jennifer and Stefan’s. They then walked a little further down to Shakespere & Co Antiquarian Book Shop... where Cherrie asked that they each choose a book that reflected their personality…
The Best Man chose The Junkers, the Maid of Honour chose An Offer You Can’t Refuse, Jennifer chose Stay Out Of The Kitchen and Stefan chose A Changed Man. I really love this idea, what a great way to capture your bridal party’s personalities. Jennifer and Stefan chose one of their favourite restaurants to host their intimate wedding dinner, Attelier Maitre Albert, located on the edge of the Seine with a stunning view of Notre Dame. The celebrations extend through the weekend and Jennifer and Stefa choose to stay in Paris for their honeymoon too.
